Citation:
"Digital Discussion: Take Your Class to the Internet." Edutopia. N.p., n.d. Web. 24 Feb. 2013.This article
written by freelance writer Helena Echlin. It is a basic how to guide on blogging in the classroom. The article
was published in 2007, so it is a fairly old article, but I found the information to be useful for use in 2013. It
does not state if Echlin is an educational professional, but she does provide quotes from a teacher who uses
blogs in the classroom. This article provides great information and accurate information on blogging
technology. The article could use updated information, but it is a great resource. The article even provides an
example article.

Blogs Give Students an Audience
Citation:
Aguilar, Elena. "Blogs Give Students an Audience." Edutopia. N.p., 13 Jan. 2009. Web. 24 Feb. 2013.
This article is written by Elena Aguilar a transformational leadership coach from Oakland, California. She
interviews teacher Jessie Thaler and talks with her about using blogs to teach. This is a great first hand
account from a real educator using blogs in the classroom. The article is from 2009, so it is not very recent. I
do find the information relevant. I like that the teacher explained in her own words why she used blogs to
teach.
